Wonderful craftswoman Halina Hawkswell brings her hoards of buttons to the Free Space Gallery so you can help her sew!
Raising money and awareness of visual impairment and the RNIB. Loosing her sight in her right eye Halina has become aware herself of the huge emotional and physical impact that this has had on her life. Since then she has been using her skills in craft to let others know about the importance of using the right light when working and where to go when you are experiencing problems.
These workshops will see people creating mandalas from buttons as well as learning new craft skills. We will be based in the cafe area of the Kentish Town Health Centre every Friday until Christmas so do please come along and join in.
The Free Space Gallery is playing host to an observational drawing workshop. After a successful series of workshops under the guidance of Catriona Andrew we will be opening up this workshop to anyone who would like to come along and give it a go so…
